Share Audio in a Session
Sharing audio during a live session on AllTakes is a great way to energize your participants or set the mood. You can play audio as welcome music at the beginning of your session, or as background music while members are workshopping.
Sharing Audio from Browser
Follow these steps to share audio from a browser in a live session.
Step 1: Use your Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser and open up the website from which you’d like to share music in a new browser tab (Spotify, Apple Music, or anything else that plays audio).
*Note: Sharing audio function only works with Chrome and Microsoft Edge right now.
Step 2: In AllTakes, click on “Share” in the bottom menu in a live session and then click “Share Audio Only”.
When you hit “Confirm,” you will be prompted to share the browser tab with your audio playing.
Audio will then be broadcast to members in your live session. Members will hear audio from the selected tab even when you are muted in AllTakes. Your screen won’t be shared with other members.
Step 3: When you are done sharing, hit the “Share” button again to stop Sharing audio.
